NextNRG is seeking a proactive, strategic, and technically fluent Business Development Executive to accelerate market adoption of our Electric Vehicle (EV) charging and microgrid solutions. Main Responsibilities
Own the full business development lifecycle, from market research and prospecting to deal structuring and close, across EV charging infrastructure, microgrids, energy storage, and related services.
Build and manage a high quality pipeline of commercial, industrial, fleet, utility, and public sector opportunities.
Conduct in depth customer discovery to understand technical, financial, and operational requirements and identify high value use cases.
Collaborate cross functionally with engineering, product, and project delivery teams to design tailored, scalable energy solutions.
Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and ROI analyses that clearly articulate value and long term benefits.
Monitor industry trends, including incentives, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies, to inform strategy and positioning.
Cultivate long term relationships with customers, channel partners, utilities, and technology providers to expand market reach.
Negotiate commercial terms and contracts, ensuring a seamless transition to project execution teams.
Represent the company externally at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to elevate brand presence and generate new opportunities.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated success in B2B sales or business development, ideally within clean energy, EV charging, microgrids, energy storage, or other technical solution environments.
Strong understanding of energy systems, distributed generation, electrification trends, and the broader cleantech landscape.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for diverse stakeholders.
Consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving measurable growth.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
Comfort operating in a fast paced, evolving market, with the ability to adapt quickly and think strategically.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, sustainability, or a related field (preferred) or 4-5 years relevant experience.

Compensation Range: $80,000-$110,000 per year (base salary only). Actual base salary within this range will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
